ماں کی جدائی کا غم کوئی کیا جانے
بچھڑ کے اُس سے دل کبھی نہ مسکرانے پائے
“Who can understand the sorrow of a mother’s separation,
After parting from her, the heart can never smile again.”
ماں کے بغیر زندگی ہے ویران سی
ہر خوشی اب ہے اداس اور سنسان سی
“Life is desolate without a mother,
Every joy now feels sad and deserted.”
ماں کی دعائیں اب بھی یاد آتی ہیں
تنہائی میں بس اُس کی یادیں رہ جاتی ہیں
“Mother’s prayers still come to mind,
In solitude, only her memories remain.”
ماں کے بچھڑنے کا غم ہم سہہ نہ پائے
اس دل کی حالت کسی کو کیا بتائے
“We could not bear the sorrow of losing mother,
How can we explain the state of this heart to anyone?”
ماں کے بغیر دنیا ہے اجنبی سی
ہر خوشبو ہے بےرنگ اور بےمحبت سی

ماں کی محبت کا کوئی بدل نہیں ہوتا
دل میں اُس کی یاد کا کوئی پل نہیں ہوتا

ماں کی جدائی میں ہم ہر پل روتے ہیں
اُس کی یاد میں ہم اپنی راتیں کاٹتے ہیں

ماں کے بغیر یہ دنیا سنسان سی لگتی ہے
اُس کی ہنسی کی گونج اب یادوں میں رہتی ہے

دل کی یہ خلش کبھی دور نہیں ہوتی

ہر قدم پر اُس کی کمی محسوس ہوتی ہے

اُس کی یاد میں دل کی ہر دھڑکن کمزور سی ہے

ماں کے بنا یہ آنکھیں نم رہتی ہیں
اُس کی کمی میں راتیں بھی کم رہتی ہیں

دل میں اُس کی یادوں کا طوفان ہے

ماں کی یاد میں ہم ہر پل تڑپتے ہیں
اُس کے بغیر ہم ہر لمحہ بکھرتے ہیں

ماں کی دعا کا کوئی نعم البدل نہیں
اُس کے بغیر زندگی کا کوئی حاصل نہیں
